Haulin' Bass offers something for everyone....

  • "Beat The Heat" night fishing trips are available in July and August. These trips provide a very relaxing atmosphere (due to the fact that there is very little boat traffic at night, as well as some of the most exciting fishing action of the year. The largemouth feed heavily during the night time hours as do other species such as catfish and white perch. The rates for the "Beat the Heat" trips are the same as the day trips.
  • Standard Guide Trips (4 or 8hrs.)
  • Pre-tournament Practice days for tournament anglers
  • Corporate outings
  • Cast and Blast packages (see below)

Jamie and Haulin' Bass have teamed up with Deep River Sporting Clays to bring a new option for our clients. Enjoy 4 hrs. of fishing followed by an exhilarating round of sporting clays at the range in Moncure, NC. (Gun rentals and ammunition are available at the lodge, so you don't need to bring anything.)

We offer:

  • Guided bass fishing on the lake of your choice from a fully rigged tournament bass boat.
  • US Coast Guard approved life vests.
  • Transportation to and from the launch site if needed.*
  • All necessary tackle and gear for the trip are provided for use at no additional cost.
  • Instruction for beginners new to bass fishing, detailed lake information, seasonal patterns, advanced techniques.
  • Full day (8 hour), and half day (4 hour) trips. Ice is provided in an on-board cooler for your drinks/snacks. You will need to bring snacks and/or lunch.
  • Digital photos of your fish taken at no additional charge.
  • Professional, safety conscious, courteous guides.
  • Haulin' Bass practices CPR - Catch, Photograph and Release. We will take pictures and measurements of your trophy and can recommend a taxidermist that specializes in replica mounts. We are just doing our part for fisheries conservation.

Corporate Outings Available

Haulin' Bass works very closely with other guides in the area when multiple boats are needed for large groups. All you need to do is call us with the number of people you have and let us handle the rest. We can even have your event catered!
